I love pasta Adam! What should I do?

So do I! I never said you can’t eat pasta. It’s about making small sacrifices. Remember: It’s what we do most of the time that generates most of our results!

So eat whole wheat pasta. You won’t even notice a difference. Whole wheat pasta won’t cause a dramatic rise in blood sugar which is the goal!

Whole-wheat pasta is a better choice because it has more than double the amount of dietary fiber than regular pasta. That extra fiber not only stabilizes your blood sugar which curbs cravings but it also helps you feel fuller longer which contributes to weight loss.

Whole-wheat pasta also trumps regular pasta in antioxidants and other protective substances, as well as vitamins and minerals. Be sure that it's accompanied by plenty of fiber-rich, nutrient-dense vegetables and lean protein to create a well-balanced, nutritious AND delicious meal.
