More on emotional, habitual and mindless eating!

Stop. Think about why you're eating. Once you realize why...take action!

Rome wasn't built in a day.

It's really easy to resent the past. It's really easy to fight reality.

When I say fight reality I mean fight (in your mind) what has already happened.

It's the people who can accept reality who don't suffer. It’s the people who love what is who are the happiest. If you don’t love what is (and what happened) you're going to be fighting reality.

You can't control if your train is running late, you can't control other people. In fact, you can’t control anything but yourself and your actions!

And that’s what loving what is – is all about.

But why did it happen you continue to wonder? It happened because it was supposed to happen. Why? Because, again, no amount of thinking or wishing or hoping will change it.

The sooner you realize this - the sooner you will be able to love what is and ultimately, be extremely happy and peaceful. Remember: It's not what happens to us that affects us...it's our thoughts about what happens to us that affects us.

Become a lover of reality. And you will become a much happier and more peaceful person and if you become a much happier and more peaceful person you won’t be tempted to eat emotionally!

Reality is anything that you can't control. The sooner you love reality...the sooner you can stop emotionally eating. The sooner you can be honest about your own reality the sooner you can take action.

The best way to emotionally eat is to not take action on your deepest needs and desires and to keep covering them up with food. The best way to break free from emotional eating is to take action!

Action leads to happiness (and less eating!). And happiness is what it’s all about.

The Someday Disease

We’ve all said it. “Some day I’ll lose weight.” or, “Some day I’ll start going to the gym.”

Unfortunately, some day never comes. Today is the day!
