Abraham Lincoln said...

Yesterday was Abraham Lincoln's birthday. Happy Birthday! I came across a quote of his I really liked.

He said, "When I do good, I feel good. When I do bad, I feel bad. That is my religion."

I'm not saying you shouldn't believe in what you do.

All I'm saying is that Abe's personal mantra is definitely one that rings very true and one we can all learn from.

Before we reach for the candy, or cookies, or ice cream or fast food OR even the extra serving, let's think about this:

When I eat bad...I feel bad.

When I eat good...I feel good.

Have you ever disproved this?

Have you ever ate bad and felt good? Have you ever ate good and felt bad?

I don't think so.

When I eat good...I feel good!

When I do good...I feel good!

How do you want to feel?
