I was tired of all the failures over the years and didn't want to be 80 years old and still trying new diets.

If Jacque can do it with MBT you can too. Yes, YOU! (No, we’re not yelling. We just really believe in what we do.)
Why it worked in her own words
Now that I have met my goal weight I wanted to let you know what a great program you have established. I originally found the MBT website while googling weight loss programs. That was over two years ago. Even though the program sounded wonderful, I was still convinced that I didn’t need to pay money for someone to help me lose weight.
All the while I kept getting Adam’s insightful emails about weight loss. The approach seemed to be more about behavior and habits. I had come to realize after 50+ years of dieting that if we ate when only hungry none of us would have a problem.
My belief now after trying hundreds of different types of diets and yoyoing back and forth over the years is that weight loss is more of behavior, mindset and habit problem than anything else. Why did it take so long for me to realize I couldn’t do this by myself?
A year ago I retired and told myself I have all the time to lose weight without the excuse that I am too busy with work. Well all that time also allowed for binge eating since I did have so much time that needed to be filled with something to do.
Every day was going to be a fresh start or different diet. So I would need to eat everything that wasn’t on the new diet before the next day so I wouldn’t be tempted. Well this went on for about 6 months until I finally realized I had hit a wall. I couldn’t even stay on a diet for one day. That had never happened to me before. So I signed up for MBT and away I went.
Adam read my information and paired me with a coach he thought would suit me. You can choose your own coach but I figured he had done enough of these pairings and would be better equipped to determine which coach would be the best fit.
Since I am over 60 I was sort of hoping he had a more mature coach. My coach was great to work with and always supportive. I really didn’t know what to expect and was surprised to see the lack of diet.
Let’s face it: Each and every one of us knows what we should and should not be eating to be healthy. Each of us is different and has different work/life schedules so a blanket type diet in the long run just doesn’t work. The best diet in the world is the one you stay on and if it doesn’t work for your lifestyle then you will never be able to stay on it forever.
After sending my coach info on what I was eating every day through the MBT system, she would send back suggestions, encouragement and critique the following day, which I looked forward to. It was never shame or guilt based. I did have to have a treat every night. I was not going to give that up and I loved that we worked this into my plan.
The very first day I made it through without bingeing. Having to tell someone what I was eating made all the difference. It was the daily contact in the end that made this program work for me. I wasn’t perfect the entire time either.
When those slip ups occurred my coach would have great ideas about how to fix things. Signing up for MBT was an act of desperation. I wanted this to be the last diet/program I will go on.
I have over 50 diet books that have been failures in the last few years. I was tired of all the failures over the years and didn’t want to be 80 years old and still trying new diets. With the money back guarantee and the maintenance program I felt I didn’t have anything to lose.
What makes me really upset is that I tortured myself for almost 2 years before realizing I couldn’t do this on my own. All those lost months of binge eating, buying new diet books, buying larger clothes since I kept getting bigger and bigger, feeling absolutely miserable because I didn’t have control of my eating habits, plus the negative effect on my health.
I realized I spent more money on all the other things than the monthly fee for MBT. So if you are wondering if this is the real deal, you don’t need to wonder any longer. The daily support and feedback plus the invaluable emails you get from Adam will change your life.
My husband told me the other day after we got back from a weekend away that it was wonderful going out to eat without spending 2 hours looking for a restaurant that I would be able to eat at. I just went in and ordered the same thing that he did.
I didn’t realize how all this crazy dieting has such a detrimental effect on family members. In closing Adam, I just want to thank you for the great program and am excited about the maintenance phase of the process. I’m confident I can easily sustain this for the rest of my life. Thank you again!

What did you say to yourself as you were reading Jacque’s story?
It’s fascinating when we start to notice our own behavior. Typically, we distance ourselves from that person. We find something they have that we don’t. We make them into something other than an ordinary, regular person. Then, we create an excuse for why we can’t achieve the same level of success.
The most important thing to realize: Whatever anyone else has done or become, you can do or become as well, with the right support, guidance and accountability.
Here’s the best part: I guarantee it or your money back. I sincerely believe in what we offer that much. I know MBT will be the last program you ever do or need.
