After this wake-up call, I set out to take back my life. Over the course of two years, I lost 235lbs naturally through eating and exercise changes and kept it off for another two years. The most important part of my change however was changing my relationship with food. I began to realize why I am eating and why I should be eating. I got myself to a place where I use food to fuel my body and not for comfort. During that time, I also discovered a passion for fitness with powerlifting and a passion for helping others reach their fitness goal.
Why MyBodyTutor
What drew me to MBT was the support and accountability aspect. MBT is something that I wish I had when I was at my heaviest weight. Having a support system to hold you accountable and guide you along the way is critical in your health journey! In addition, I love diving deeper into the “why” of eating versus just the “how much” and “what” of eating. That is a place that many programs do not go and that is one of the many things I love about MBT! I can’t wait to help you in your journey towards better health!
