Jon
I have over 3 decades in the recovery community successfully helping, supporting and mentoring people recovering from multiple addictions including substances, self-destructive behaviors as well as codependency. People describe me as kind and caring and therefore I feel that I am uniquely qualified to act as a Coach/Mentor/Tutor in guiding MBT clients through this process of transformation and self-discovery.
While I wouldn’t exactly say that I have a six pack, I am in excellent shape and live a full and active life. I believe in No Zero Days which means that I do some sort of exercise every single day alternating between running, walking, biking, elliptical machines, free weights and yoga. The main benefit is that I am able to keep the needle on my stress meter in a safe place as well as maintain my sense of serenity, well-being and it even improves the quality of my sleep!
Why MyBodyTutor?
I appreciate the fact that we are not counting calories or taking anything away. MBT’s approach is utilizing the proven principles of accountability, no judgements or criticism (we already do a pretty good job of being hard on ourselves already) and consistent unconditional support. I love how MBT introduces simple and effective tools for uncovering the real reason why clients turn to foods rather than allowing themselves to listen to their bodies and experience the full range of feelings and emotions.
Let’s get this started!
