The combination of a healthy diet, accountability and emotional support that MBT provides makes it the healthiest, most effective and, by far, the most superior program I’ve ever been on!!

Results ARE typical and to be expected with MyBodyTutor. See why at the end of this page.

If Stephanie can do it with MBT you can too. Yes, YOU! (No, we’re not yelling. We just really believe in what we do.)

The Problem:

Stephanie has been overweight since she was 8 years old. She has been on countless diets: Medifast, Jenny Craig, she saw two different nutritionists, tried raw food diets, a 52-day cleanse, Weight Watchers, no carb diets, diet pills, Fit for Life, Body for Life, and the list goes on. It’s not that she is lazy, or that she didn’t want to lose weight, it’s that she couldn’t stop binge-eating. She’d do fine for a while and then feel the need to eat a box of donuts. Sticking with it seemed impossible to her.

Stephanie was a perfect candidate for MBT because of the daily and personal accountability, along with the expert guidance and coaching, we provide. It’s too easy to give up if you don’t see results quickly and it’s even easier to get frustrated when the scale doesn’t move.

She needed help from the inside out. Thankfully, she found us!

Why it Worked (in her words):

The combination of a healthy diet, accountability and emotional support that MBT provides makes it the healthiest, most effective and, by far, the most superior program I’ve ever been on!!

I guess everyone starts a weight-loss program differently. I usually start a diet when I’m really fired up and determined to lose weight. When my tutor and I had our introductory talk, I wasn’t sure I was really ready to try to lose the weight again. I told him I would try the program and do the best I could, but that I had grown cynical of diets in general and I could only promise I would be honest. Shockingly, that’s all my tutor wanted. He wanted me to report consistently and be as open and honest as possible, no matter how I ate. Even I could commit to that!

The first week, I followed the program, I ate what we talked about (which was pleasantly surprising to me because I was never hungry and felt satisfied), and filled out my Daily Report every day. I was encouraged to eat regularly. A “diet” that encourages me to eat more? I’ll take it! However, that week was not what I expected.

I felt good, calm, more focused and I wasn’t craving sugar. I loved getting my feedback each day, and it was great to share with my tutor how I was doing.

Then it happened, my first road-block.

At the end of the week, I got on the scale and I hadn’t lost any weight. I became instantly frustrated. My tutor and I talked (maybe it would’ve sounded like arguing to a passerby) that although I felt great, if I wasn’t losing weight, what was the point?

He told me that feeling great was the point and there was no greater way to get results than to be healthy. He asked if I could honestly think of a better, more natural, sustainable and healthy way to lose weight. He also pointed out that my expectations were unreasonable and quick results were not what we were going for. He was right (as usual), I couldn’t think of a better way and I agreed to trust him.

So I stuck with it, expressing my concern everyday that I was wasting my time and energy on being healthy. He had his work cut out for him, for sure, but he stuck with me. I dropped 9 lbs in the 2nd week. He was right, I was wrong, but this is the difference that the program really makes…you can’t just be committed when it’s easy. I challenged him, argued with him, got discouraged and he only became more committed to my success in the face of it, and it’s been like that the whole time.

I think so often where I would shut down on a diet is in how I thought about it. It’s not that I didn’t want to lose weight, it’s that I thought about it all wrong and MBT totally changed that. My mindset is/was more geared toward immediate gratification and I didn’t really know how to feed my body and I would misinterpret the signals my body was giving.

This program is so great because you get a personalized program designed for you by an expert, the same expert gives you daily feedback on everything you do, you have a weekly check-in call about how the week was and set goals for the next week, and when you get stuck or feel discouraged, your tutor pushes and challenges you to keep going but in a motivating way – not a bashing way.

MBT has re-trained me how to think about food… it’s amazing that you get all that for $299/month. It’s not only the best program I’ve ever been on; it’s one of the least expensive!!!

I’m not burnt out, only excited for the future because I know I’ll be able to sustain this!

I could have never done this without MBT! I’m forever grateful and will do everything I can to help MBT succeed because it’s truly a special company.

What did you say to yourself as you were reading Stephanie’s story?

It’s fascinating when we start to notice our own behavior. Typically, we distance ourselves from that person. We find something they have that we don’t. We make them into something other than an ordinary, regular person. Then, we create an excuse for why we can’t achieve the same level of success.

The most important thing to realize: Whatever anyone else has done or become, you can do or become as well, with the right support, guidance and accountability.

Here’s the best part: I guarantee it or your money back. I sincerely believe in what we offer that much. I know MBT will be the last program you ever do or need.
