My case is not so much about losing weight as it was about changing my mindset. I don’t really feel the pictures do justice to all the changes I’ve made and how great I feel!

Results ARE typical and to be expected with MyBodyTutor. See why at the end of this page.
Before MyBodyTutor, I was in a battle with food. From what I remember, this battle started in my mid-teenage years. The theme of the battle was “I wish I wouldn’t have eaten that” or “I wish I wouldn’t have eaten SO MUCH of that” or “I wish I could break the habit of eating this every day” (usually referring to ice cream and/or a cookie, cake).
My thinking battles with myself were not just about food, they were also about fitness. Up to and into my 30’s, I did aerobic exercise quite a bit, and even into my 50’s, after a knee dysfunction kept me from running, I stayed quite active. It was when I got into my 60’s that the battle of “I need to exercise more but I don’t know what to do” started.
When I was a teenager, I did some traditional dieting, i.e., counting calories and being mindful of food groups. One of my favorite diets was the Richard Simmons Deal-A-Meal program, which was actually educational and helpful. But what I learned didn’t tackle the core problem, and the battles I mentioned resumed.
A friend of mine had mentioned a couple of different programs that I looked into, but they didn’t seem right for me. They seemed faddish, not like something that would really help. My sister had mentioned MyBodyTutor a few times, and I became curious and briefly browsed the website.
We don’t see each other often because we live 700 miles apart, but a visit came up after she had been on the program for a while. And in addition to the physical difference that was obvious in the pounds she had lost, of even more value, I noticed she seemed very happy and content.
My goal was not so much to lose weight as it was to break the habits that were causing me mental anguish, the mind battles that I mentioned.
When I first browsed the website, I didn’t sign up because it seemed a little out of my budget range. But when I saw the results that my sister had, I felt it was worth a try, at least for a few months. After I was in the program, I learned there were Maintenance Plans and different price categories that I hadn’t seen when I first browsed. That helped me decide that I could afford to probably stay with it long enough to be beneficial while staying in my price range.
While I initially planned to lose 5 pounds, I ended up losing 18 pounds. This extra weight loss happened as I began breaking the habits that had been controlling me:
1. Not eating when I wasn’t hungry.
2. Stopping eating when I was full after a meal.
3. Minimizing “taste bites” of food when preparing meals and putting food away after the meal.
4. Breaking the compulsion of everyday ice cream & /cookie cake.
5. Developing an exercise routine I could maintain.
My case is not so much about losing weight as it is about changing my mindset, so I don’t really feel the pictures do justice to all the changes I’ve made and how great I feel!
The dialogue and relationship with a coach made the big difference. I could not have done it on my own. Additionally, Adam’s Sunday email inspirations were a big factor.

What did you say to yourself as you were reading Sharon's story?
It's fascinating when we start to notice our own behavior. Typically, we distance ourselves from that person. We find something they have that we don't. We make them into something other than an ordinary, regular person. Then, we create an excuse for why we can't achieve the same level of success.
The most important thing to realize: Whatever anyone else has done or become, you can do or become as well, with the right support, guidance and accountability.
Here's the best part: I guarantee it or your money back. I sincerely believe in what we offer that much. I know MyBodyTutor will be the last program you ever do or need.
