My name is Lenora. I am a Certified Personal Trainer and a former life long dieter. I experimented with just about every diet out there from cleanses to carb cutting to no sugar, low fat…you name it, I did it; but not one of them lasted. The weight always came back as soon as I began to eat “normally.” I love to eat, and I don’t want to feel deprived. It took YEARS for me to get to a place where I could understand my behaviors around my food choices. I used to feel hungry all the time and had no energy. I now feel balanced, use food for fuel, and spend hours hiking with my two Rhodesian Ridgebacks, training with my clients, spending time with my family, and being present in all I do!
I became a personal trainer after a very snowy New York winter forced me into a gym for the first time in my life. I immediately began working with a personal trainer and discovered the science behind exercise and training. I was hooked. Being a former science and math teacher, I found the knowledge fascinating and another opportunity to both learn and teach!
I work with women of all ages, from 18 to 86. I found that we all have the exact same things in common: Our desire to lose weight, be in our best shape, and have more energy. My desire to learn and teach led me to research as much as I possibly could about emotional eating, cravings, how we relate to food, food habits, and then teach this to my clients along side an individualized fitness plan. I love helping each of my clients reach their goals and learn more about their health each day. I would love to take this knowledge and share it with you to help you reach your goals once and for all!
