Abe Lincoln's Personal Mantra

I came across a quote of his I really liked.

He said, “When I do good, I feel good. When I do bad, I feel bad. That is my religion.”

I’m not saying you shouldn’t believe in what you do.

All I’m saying is that Abe’s personal mantra is definitely one that rings true and one we can learn from.

Before we eat indulgent food, let’s think about this:

When I eat bad…I feel bad.

When I eat good…I feel good.

Have you ever disproved this?

Have you ever ate bad and felt good? Have you ever ate good and felt bad?

I don’t think so.

When I eat good…I feel good.

When I do good…I feel good.

How do you want to feel?
