I can't stand emails that start like this

Just writing these makes me annoyed. They start something like this:

"Only looking for people who are 100% committed!"

"Only want people who are serious about achieving results!"

"Wanted: Highly dedicated and committed people who want their dream body!"

Have you ever gotten one of these ridiculous emails?

Ugh, are you kidding me.

Here's one of the many things these people/companies don't understand:

EVERYONE is committed, serious and dedicated in the beginning! (Just look inside a gym in early January.)

That's the easy part.

I've been saying this for 10 years now: Starting a diet is the easy part. Keeping on going is the hard part.

There's countless reasons why sticking with it is so hard. (Click here to read the top three reasons.)

Figuring this out is my life's work. MBT is built around helping people stick with it because I know if people stick with it in a sustainable way then they'll be able to keep the weight off.

Let's take Stephanie for example. She lost 155 pounds.

.

Her story is one of my favorites (you can read it here) and this is my favorite part of it:

"So I stuck with it, expressing my concern everyday that I was wasting my time and energy on being healthy. He had his work cut out for him, for sure, but he stuck with me. I dropped 9 lbs in the 2nd week. He was right, I was wrong, but this is the difference that the program really makes...you can't just be committed when it's easy. I challenged him, argued with him, got discouraged and he only became more committed to my success in the face of it and it's been like that the whole time."

It's fairly easy to be a coach when a client is compliant. BUT, most people aren't compliant - otherwise, most people would be walking around loving the way they look and feel.

And, scarily, most coaches have absolutely no idea what to do when their client isn't compliant.

NO "trying harder" or "Just really wanting it!" or "Using more willpower" aren't realistic options.

One client told me a former coach of hers said, "If you want to build discipline you need to be disciplined."

LOL! What?!

That's like telling someone who is sad...."Don't be sad!"

Are you freaking kidding me. Ohhhhh! Why didn't I think of that?!

We've been doing this for 10 years now. We've been guiding and supporting our clients day in and day out and it's why we get the results we do. I sincerely believe we're the best in the world at what we do.

I'm so confident in what we do that I offer a guarantee. I don't know of any other program that allows you to try their program for a full month and get your money back if you don't get results.

Whatever you do in your weight loss journey, make sure you're going to get support and accountability along the way. It's inevitable that there will tough moments during it.

The question is what's going to happen in those moments?
